Contaminated Wastewaters
Many industrial processes produce wastewater that is exceptionally challenging to treat — often containing emulsified oils, grease, heavy metals, and suspended solids. These waste streams cannot be safely discharged into the environment and typically require costly off-site disposal.
Our bespoke Ultrafiltration Treatment System offers a highly cost-effective alternative to traditional chemical and physical wastewater treatments, which typically produce a filter cake sludge requiring additional transport and landfill disposal.
Hazardous Liquid Effluent
Our ultrafiltration process treats mixed hazardous and non-hazardous effluents to produce a 95% non-hazardous permeate, which is discharged under consent to Yorkshire Water for recycling into potable and household water. The remaining 5% concentrate is blended with high-calorific wastes for use as fuel in cement kilns — delivering 100% recyclability of your liquid effluent and enhancing your environmental credentials.
